TGIF. No, not really.

June 15, 2006

June 16, 2006.  It will truely be the last Friday of the year.  No more going home on Fridays and thinking, "Hooray!  I have until Sunday to do my homework!"  Nope.  None of that anymore.  It is the last Friday of free public education.  Ain't that a drag.  Rather than spend my time feeling the brief freedom that comes with a Friday during the school year (not including the last few Fridays), I have been furiously trying to savor what's left of this year.  It's like sucking on a straw in a cup with hardly anything left.  You hear that annoying sluuuuuuuuuurping sound.  It's pretty much like that.  There's nothing left, but I'm trying to make something out of it.  There's basically seven days 'til the end, and there's all these things that absolutely have to be done by then.  Then after the twenty-second, there's just the summer.
